Post 1

Here is a picture of a local in the "backwaters" of Kerala, India. He is cutting down the local vegetation to use for his living needs. The "backwaters" are near the southwest coastline of India. Here the water is mainly fresh, but there is some salt that mixes into the lake which comes from the nearby Indian Ocean.
Here is a look at a tea plantation up in the mountians of southern India (Kerala). These mountains are called hill stations.

Here is the crew at the Taj Mahal. From left to right, back to front, Nathan, Cole, Emily, Jagannath, and Trevor.


We went on a safari in northern India and saw two tigers mating. Here is a picture of the female laying out in the sun, while the male was resting up getting ready for action.



Jagannath and I take a nice little elephant ride at a local them park.
